Yeah, gdiapers are really quite low rise and they leak when they are too big. It sucks because they seem like they fit but if the liner doesn't get a good seal it will leak around the legs like that. You can still use them as AIOs around the house, just throw them in the pail every diaper change if they leak.

Thanks everyone. Oh, well, I have a complete stash of mediums when I need them.

hey an easy cheap fix, use small snap in liners on your med diapes! Thats what i do. My little chunker is inbetween sizes right now and thats what we do. The tightness of the liner is what keeps them from leaking not the pants. So instead of spending a ton of money on new pant just send less than half on some liners!

I just wanted to comment on what a cutie pie your son is. And yes, it looks to me too like they're just a little too big on him.

My son is built exactly the same way and he's 24lbs and only wears mediums on the smallest setting with tabs almost touching.. I think if he had smalls you wouldn't have leaking problems.

Have you tried to take and after the diaper is fastened reach inside from the top in the front where the liner is and pull it up. I find that this creates a seal. Also, I have heard of people using the small liners in a medium g-diaper, so that might be a less expensive solution than buying all new pants. Especially since your son is young and growing fast.

Re: My gdiapers leak leak leak *Now with action pics*

I was given a pack from one of my client's over a year ago that I was going to sell on Craigslist, but decided to try them out on my new baby (now 10 weeks old). They leaked every time for me too. I'm without a washer and dryer for 3 weeks so I'm using the inserts in my Thirsties covers that I love. No leaks this way and it works great! Maybe just use them in another cover if you have some.

I have a question, do you give the back wasitband a good "tug" up?

Like mentioned above, Some people have luck with using small liners in med gpants. Alternatively, other people catch the med/lg liner in the waistband (so the back edge of the liner is between the elastic waistband and the skin) to make a better seal around the legs. (I hope this makes sense).

I personally stopped worrying about putting the liner edge into the crease and just let it fall on her leg but then again, DD has super chunky thighs.

Hope you find a solution that works!
