Wondering about seats/trainers

I'm looking to start the potty with DD and I'm wondering if I need both a potty seat and the toilet trainer seat that fits on top of the toilet? We only have 1 upstairs bathroom so Im wondering if I should get a potty for downstairs and the toilet topper seat for upstairs? Thanks mamas!

This is the seat Im talking about for the toilet...

Just do what is convenient and makes it easiest for you to ec. Start with whatever seems best for you, you can always add something later.

I use a potty/seat bowl in the car and the Baby Bjorn seat on the toilet at home. 5 kids potty trained by 20 months old. # 6 is working on it, but later than the others. She is 2 1/2.

Re: Wondering about seats/trainers

I don't have any experience with the baby bjorn toilet topper, but their "Little Potty" is wonderful. And at about $13, it's a small investment to save you from running frantically up the stairs 20 times a day!

Re: Wondering about seats/trainers

I would probably do both, just so you don't have to run up and down the stairs all day.
