Giving potty sign constantly

So I read Diaper Free and wanted to try it with my daughter. She's nearly 15 months now and we started sitting on the potty about a month ago. I use sign language to tell her when she goes to the bathroom and sits on the potty, because she can only say a few words so far.

However this week she is constantly giving me the potty sign. A couple times it's because she just went potty in her diaper, which is okay, because that proves that she understands what she just did and hopefully she'll get better at telling me BEFORE she goes (I think she did that 2 times so far.) The problem is when she gives me the potty sign and then we sit on the potty and then nothing happens and then ten minutes later she repeats the process. I know I should take her to the potty every time she signs because I never know when she really needs to go, but she is really like the boy who cried wolf, because it's just getting old and exhausting. Any ideas as what I should do? THANKS!

She may enjoy being dipe-free? Have you tried some dipe-free time when you're available to be near her?

my son didn't EC, but when we starting PLing at around 18 months, he went through a phase where it was just fun to be on the potty and he'd constantly ask for it....it drove me nuts because i had to drop everything to run him over just to have him play and giggle on the potty without using it for it's purpose, and of course, being a worry wort, i thought he'd never learn it's real use if he thought it was just a toy....but it passed, just like every phase no need to stress!
