Longies Help!!!

I'm trying to put an addition couple layers of fleece in the crotch area of my fleece longies, but I can't seem to get it right. I've sewed the tops of the reinforcement to my pants and then when I get to the crotch it bunches up and my legs won't lie smoothly. I sewed the inseam first then attempted to sew in the extra fleece and then was going to sew up the sides of the legs.
If you know what I'm talking about...please help!!!

Re: Longies Help!!!

For longies, don't most mamas use a hammock-style in order to avoid this problem (forgive me if I'm wrong...I haven't made them myself, but know the theory behind it). So you just sew at the front waistband seam, then at the back. Let me see if I can find a picture of what I'm talking about:

Hope that helps! If not, maybe posting a picture of your problem would help?
