Need dinner help

So I intended to make Chicken Pizzaiola tonight for dinner (never tried it before) because we came home from DH's family's with tons of fresh produce. But we don't have chicken broth or tomato paste, so I guess that's a no-go. We're too far out of town for a quick trip (plus out of money for the month). Here's the link to the recipe though: http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/Chicken...-2/Detail.aspx

Can anyone suggest another recipe similar to this one (or at least using the same ingredients maybe)?

I have chicken thawed. We have tons of tomatoes - both red and green. We have snap peas, sweet onions (although DH won't eat them), cucumbers, and banana peppers. Also tons of potatoes we need to use up. We also have lots of the basics - cheese, cream of chicken, cream of mushroom, tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, noodles (all kinds), rice, etc.

Thanks for the help!!

It seems like you could do great foil dinners on the grill with those ingredients. Chicken, veggies, some rice and some cream of mushroom soup would make a great combo. I would probably precook the rice at least partway. You could also do potatoes instead of rice if you precooked the potatoes.

Another option would be kebabs if you have skewers. Add a cucumber and onion salad and you have such a great summer meal.

Aha! You rock! I always forget about hobo dinners! I've got them in the oven now. DH gets home late, and I don't do the grill - but I have made them in the oven so we're doing that. Chicken, potatoes, tomatoes, onions, and banana peppers (all different combos for everyone of course) - YUM! Hopefully it turns out ok with these ingredients. Usually I just do the basics - potatoes, corn, onions.
