is on now I am already fuming at how they are presenting extended bfing and attachment parenting.. i am going to end up in a mood.

From the other post the mom doesn't seem very AP if she's whopping all over her kids. *shrug*

Tiffany, Mama to the incredible JM (3.25.06) & NC (7.28.10) We don't vaccinate, we kept our son intact, we use cloth diapers, we co-sleep, we extended RF, we breastfeed, but we watch too much tv and I totally dig plastic! Everyone has their issues, lol. |

other then the *whoopings* she seems very attached. she seems as close to a babywearer as you can get without a carrier.

She told the mom that the baby is 14 mos old & needs to be in her own bed.
I think the mom is a bit too lax though. The kids are walking all over her & dad... I understand AP & gentle discipline but there is a diff between that & zero discipline/respect. I dunno. I quit watching though. I think Jo could have said stuff in a better way like she made BFing sound bad at this age & then chimed in saying "if you continue to BF that's your peroggative" like she got it in there that it's ok. She could have said that "You know, BFing is great & if she's not ready to wean that's ok. The great thing is, she's 14 mos old so it's not as important that you're right there nursing every hour like when she was 2 weeks old, so you can let her engage in other activies or do things for yourself once in a while." I just think everything is about presentation & she came off a little snarky about it. |
