Need fun snack ideas for bday party

DDs birthday party is saturday and I wanted to make some fun snacks to have instead of my normal bag of chips to munch on. Thought I'd be more creative this year.
I'm not really sure what I'm wanting to do so any ideas are appreciated. They'd have to be kid-friendly finger foods...nothing that has to stay hot. It's an 8 year olds party.

It's for DD Trinity..she's having a princess theme. I'm just doing a white icing cake with a fake tiara on top.

oops, I didnt read DD for some reason.

What about heart shaped pbj, cheese diamonds(cubes), princes baubles(different colored grapes) strawberries with creamcheese/marshmallow fluff dip. blueberry/raspberry/boysenberry skewers on those glittery sub sandwich toothpicks dusted with sugar for sparkle

Strawberries, bananas, and orange dipped in chocolate. I use Dolci frutta, microwavable dip and let the children dip their own fruit and then place them in cupcake liners to harden.
Meat and veggies on a skewer. Cut carrot or potatoes into a star and place on top like a wand. If you can find it - just cut up star fruit - they are already star shaped.
Have children decorate their own cookies - then wrap nicely and take home as part of party gift.

Re: Need fun snack ideas for bday party

I did mini pigs in a blanket for my daughters bday party. I got the "lil smokies" weiners. I rolled out a package of pilsbury cresent roll dough and cut it into thin strips. I wrapped the strips around the lil smokies and backed them in the oven at the temperature on the pilsbury cresent roll package. just keep and eye on them they will probobly get done quickly because of the small strips. We ate them all and people were asking for more.

You can have them all laid out on a cookie sheet and toss them in the oven right before the party...
