I was wondering, for those of you who have used diaper buddies, what do you think of them? Do they work to keep the stinkies out, do they actually "boost" your laundry detergant as promised? What are your thoughts, before I invest money I don't have buying them.

Re: diaper buddies?
I like them. They are convenient, for one thing, and sometimes I get lazy.
They come 6 to a pack, and one buddy just goes in your diaper pail or hanging wetbag or whatever you want to freshen up, and then when it comes time to wash, the buddy just gets poured into the washer. I don't use them all the time at home, but I do like to have a pack on hand for if I'm taking a trip or something and I want the diaper bag to smell more like peppermint and less like poop.

Re: diaper buddies?
I've tried them and like them, but they are expensive for every load, I think. I used them at first during my "honeymoon" cloth diapering month. Now I just add my own washing soda or baking soda and some tea tree oil if we have major stinks. I have a 13 month old though, so we only have poop 2 times a day and I wash every other. If they were cheaper I buy them all the time.

Re: diaper buddies?
we use them but not for every load and to be honest I don't notice a difference when we do so I'll probably stop when I finish our pack

Re: diaper buddies?
I think they would be worth it if they cost maybe 10 cents each. They are not that effective at either job, IMO.

Re: diaper buddies?
I did come across a website that had a recipe for these/I think the main ingredient was baking soda. You mix it up and fill little muffin tins. After they dry out and set, you have your own version of diaper buddies. Haven't tried it yet. Does anyone know where this info is?
