GOT IT TOO! About 45 mins ago.

Its so freakin frustrating. I KNOW it came from here because it was the only thing I had open. Didnt get a screen shot.
ITs a trojan.. according to my antivirus thing.

There was a mama on here the posted some VERY helpful links

all the programs are free and they save your computer from the damn viruses floating around here

Same thing last night. Not sure what to do? I have Webroot antispyware--I ran a scan and it didn't find anything. Am I ok then?

Re: Virus attack AGAIN - 5th time!!!

yeah, I had it happen on my work computer yesterday morning. It took my IT guy all morning to get my computer cleaned up. There was a bunch of spyware and trojans going on.

This is getting a bit ridiculus now with all these viruses. I love it here, but I can't have this keep happening especially here at work.

Re: Virus attack AGAIN - 5th time!!!

We bought a new router (ours was old anyway and obviously the firewall built within it wasn't doing it's job... it was almost 8 years old) today. We got different virus protection and put our firewall and virus protection on "high alert" on my PC, especially when browsing.

I am glad that I am in a relationship with an IT security person, b/c otherwise, I'd have probably lost my PC for awhile.

Re: Virus attack AGAIN - 5th time!!!

I've had that pop-up four or five times in the past two days, and it's only been on diaperswappers. DH told me to start the task manager and end the program through that rather than clicking on anything. We have Norton and we ran a scan, but it didn't find anything. I hope this is fixed soon or DH might ban me from diaperswappers!

Re: Virus attack AGAIN - 5th time!!!

I've had this happen here about 10 min. ago and I had the same thing happen from Ebay...the program that pops up is actually the virus, it's not your computer. I have AVG and I scanned it twice when I happened and used my Windows security and no virus popped up. The first time it happened it totally screwed up my computer but once I ( I mean DH) did the scans and downloaded some windows program it was fine. When it happened a few minutes ago I just closed it out, checked my antivirus and it's fine. Just don't click on anything!!!!

Happened to me last night too and I have Norton. I just closed out and ran a system scan so it cleaned everything up too. It sure would be nice if my favorite site fixed the virus problems!
