Re: 19 mom old getting out of his crib...help!!!
We tried the toddler bed thing and it was a nightmare. He won't sleep, he throws things and screams...nonstop for about 2 hours. He was exhausted and I was exhausted and we could barely stand to be around one another. That's a bad thing for a mother and son.
So I went and bought a crib tent and we all got some sleep last night and are human again this morning. |

Re: 19 mom old getting out of his crib...help!!!
My dd started doing that at 12 months (she is two now, it's been a long year!). It was crazy. We did the toddler bed thing, and finally got a crib tent last month. She likes it, LOL. She asks me to "zip" at bedtime. We wouldn't have done it probably, but my dh was not willing to open the window in her bedroom at all with the possibility she could jump out it (and it gets kind of hot in there)- That freaked me out. So we zip her in now, and it has worked out wonderfully.

If I don't respond, it's because we're 6 hrs ahead of EST and I might be sleeping already |
