Im getting a waldorf doll!

I always like to make my older dd's birthdays special

So I decided to go with a waldorf doll this year! She is a very quiet and patient girl, and loves to have a 'friend' sit with her in her wheelchair so i hope it will be perfect.

Does anyone have a waldorf for their dc around this age? Did they like them? Was it a favorite toy?

she was just such a sweet person! All her stuff is handmade by her and I felt like she really wanted to get to know about my dd to help create the perfect doll for her.

What do you guys think? Did I do good? I hope its better than that stupid reborn doll I did for xmas (I posted about this the other day)... she hated that thing! When I put it on her lap she would not touch it or look at it and everytime she was anywhere near it she would start saying no!

It looks really good to me! I am getting one for my dd for her birthday too, she's one, so she really won't be able to enjoy it until later, but I couldn't help myself when I saw how sweet they were. The reborn dolls creep me out too, no offense. The lady that I ordered my doll from also said that she could make a doll family that looks like us, even a uniform for the daddy doll (my dh is in the navy), so I really appreciate the personal touches that are put into these dolls. So, I think you've done a great job. I hope your dd will love it!

Oh, and I got a Waldorf bunny, sort of like the toddler dolls from the bomoletta site for my dd and it is her favorite. I think because the velour is soooo soft she just loves hugging it. But she is at the age that texture is really important.

I think they look wonderful. i may have to get one for ds2, he loves baby dolls. Mostly he just chews on them and hugs them.
