what kind of Tide do you use?

I see several people use Tide with their diapers. I love Tide for my clothes, but thought you weren't supposed to use Tide for diapers. I currently use Charlies soap and I can start to smell a lingering odor in the diapers that have been pooped in. I just did a wash and brought all the pockets in from being dried in the sun and almost all of them smell clean, except for a few that I know DS pooped in. I feel like the poopy diapers aren't getting enough soap maybe ? There are no stains on them, though. So if I use Tide what kind do I use? I also have a top loader. TIA!

We've just changed to Tide original scent powder. Only two washloads down, but so far so good

I have a top loader and use Tide original powder. I was using the liquid but read somewhere about the powder rinsing better, so I switched and am happy I did. The stink is better, and I like the way it smells better, too.

We use Tide Original Scent powder. I've also used the Tide with Febreeze liquid and had no problems, either. I've used Tide for about a year and a half with no problems.

I use the original powder too. I have a basic top loader.

The reason why tide is 'bad' for the diapers is the enzymes and brighteners. As long as you do an extra rinse (might need more if you have HE or softer water just rinse until no more bubbles in the water) you should be fine. The brighteners supposedly can build up and cause repelling. I have been using Tide exclusively for 15 months and stripped my dipes using Dawn for the first time two weeks ago. It wasn't that they were repelling, it was more nesting = clean everything.

I have a top loader and use tide original liquid. I use liquid for diapers and clothes because I hated when the powder wouldn't dissolve all the way in my clothes and then I'd have to rewash - I love having one detergent for everything!

I also use orginal scent liquid tide. My self and DD get excema with the tide free and clear incidently but not the orginal. DD reacts to powderd detergents so we use liquid.

Tide Original Powder (only half-way to the 1 line). I've been using it in my top loader for 9.5 months now and have had no stinks, stains or repelling. I've never done an extra rinse either.
