Re: Co-Sleeping Mamas with toddlers, WWYD?

We co-sleep with dd (2.5) and 2 month old DS as well with any other of our kiddos that might make it into our room in the middle of the night. Our solution was what one of your choices (#4) was listed above. We put a twin bed in our room pushed up against our bed and we love it! It gives everyone a place and no one is squished. So that's my vote!

here's some pics to give you an idea of what it looks like.

We have one of those little fold-out kiddie couches that you can buy, and when dd is sick or I am worried about her sleeping alone in her room, we put her on that in our room next to our bed. It's great because it's totally portable and you can fold it up, so it doesn't take up that much space. Normally it sits in our lounge room, we only use it when it's needed. Like you... we have just never been able to co-sleep comfortably! ALL of us end up having a rotten night's sleep.

Thx! It's my favorite birth art. It's called, "Birth Waves" by Eugenia Algaze Garcia. www.mindful-art.com She has some beautiful birth art. I could just really relate to this one bc I always invision my contrax as waves flowing over my body slowly pushing my baby out. You can see a better pic of it on my blog.

I'm a visual learner, so thought I'd share pics to help. Glad they were a help! Sorry the bed is such a mess.
