Re: Babywearing costume ideas??

Gypsy with a bright wrap baby carrier or even a back rezbo if you have a short bright one.
Indian lady with her baby in a any carrier. You could use any carrier just if it isn't brown/tan a slipcover would work.

I am doing a Scottish renaissance outfit with her a in a matching plaid sling.

Great ideas! I was thinking of being a pirate, with baby as a parrot. Not sure how to do it yet - I like the slip cover idea...

You could be a flower and baby could be a bumble bee. Or how about you be Wilma Flintsone and baby be Pebbles, or Betty and Bam Bam. You could be a cat and baby a kitten or dog and puppy. You could be a butterfly and baby a caterpillar.

I just love Halloween!

Here is DD2 modeling the carrier costume I made for DS2s 1st Halloween. He wore a red sweatsuit under it and I just wore black...

That's what we did last year. The costume still fits for this year, and better, yet, that my older DD and DS want to be Leia and a stormtrooper.

Re: Babywearing costume ideas??

This year, my 5 month old DS will be a bluebird and husband and I are trees (costume from martha stewart's site...I will post pics when all is done). Other ideas we considered:

Curious george and the man with the yellow hat
The spider and web (there is a good one on MS site)
Shark and Remora that's kinda how I feel sometimes...
King King and the Empire State Building (saw a pic of this somewhere...so adorable)
Lobster and scuba diver--definitely baby wearing friendly...the scuba diver gets attacked!
Or better yet...Octopus and scuba diver!
