Re: How long after baby is born do you start pumping?

I started pumping on Monday, one time a day, ds is 3wks old today. I started pumping after his morning feeding and he normally nurses from both sides. I'm able to get about 4oz at a time doing it this way.

I'm going back to work when he is 4mo old so I want to make sure I have a decent supply... I'm freaked out about not being able to keep up once I return to work so I'm wondering if I should add an extra session a day.

I started pumping after about 2 weeks. I dont pump regularly though. Just when I feel like I need to.
