EWCM question....maybe TMI

Okay, so I have a question for all you TTC/fertility experts This may be a bit too much, but I don't have anyone else to ask and thought some of you might be able to help me. When you are checking for cervical fluid and it during fertile time, do any of you have trouble differentiating between EWCM and semen run out? I am having a really hard time telling the difference. I know it is probably gross and TMI for you all, but I'm having trouble telling whether or not I am having EWCM. Any thoughts, tips, anything??

Semen sinks, EWCM floats. So on toilet paper, semen will seep into it.. EWCM won't.

Thanks so much! So, here's another one.....I have been using pre-seed - how do you tell the difference between it and EWCM? Or are they too close to tell them apart?

I've never used it, so I'm not sure. If it's stretchy, I'd say it's probably EWCM.. but like I said, never used preseed so I'm not sure if it's stretchy like EWCM or not.

THIS i have not figured out yet either! semen and EWCM, pp'ers nailed the difference i am having trouble betweeen preseed and EWCM also... i think because they intermingle. this time around i'm going to be dtd at night, kegels throughout the next morning, then check late afternoon/evening for the CM and see if that makes a difference (maybe the preseed will be gone by then??)
