Re: TMI HELP!!

I get a Q-tip and some micanizole, and swab the area, and within about 15 minutes she's good to go, no more itch. (My DD will be 4 in April)

HTH,
Nikki

My DD wears those cheapy Gerber Training pants to bed ( we call them nighttime panties). They are looser and allow more air to circulate.

Re: TMI HELP!!

thanks for all the tips! ... I'm wondering if her "paper" pull-ups are contributing.... dd has been potty trained since 25 months. but when we told her that her lil sis was coming (around Dec. 06) she's been wetting the bed every night since then. So going without panties at night will result in a big mess, lol.

I did make her wash twice last night and tonight, so hopefully that will help too!

thanks!

Have you checked for pinworms? These are very common in kids and cause lots of itching.

Re: TMI HELP!!

I would try and get some otc probiotics and slip it in her milk or drinks. Also bump up the yogurt to daily! And we had to cut out wipes with dd once she was potty learned because they were CAUSING yeast infections. What happened was she would wipe, not the greatest at it of course and then the moisture would just sit there in teh cotton and girly bits. Whereas when she was in dipes, the dipe would absorb any left over moisture from the wipes. So maybe going back to plain TP would help?
