pump buzzing????

lately when i plug my Medela PIS into the wall, the black plug in makes a constant buzzing noise as long as it's plugged into the wall. is that normal?? does yours do that?

I haven't noticed that with my PIS. Have you tried more than one outlet? Have you tried running the pump on batteries to see if the sound is still there? Maybe it is something with the electrical source and not with the pump.
