help -- I have ground beef....

..... what can I make that will be ready in about half an hour? Dh will be irritated if I flake on dinner again tonight. If nobody has any ideas, it's going to be burritos again, and I'm not sure that's much better than nothing all we eat around here are burritos of varying sorts

Brown the meat, boil some mac and cheese, mix it all together, you got cheeseburger mac. Fix a veggie or two (we like it with green beans and a salad), brown some bread topped with a dab of butter, garlic salt, and shredded cheese, and you gots a meal, Mama.

ETA: ready in 20 minutes if you have a microwave to thaw the meat!

Re: help -- I have ground beef....

take 1 lb of ground beef and fry it w/ about 1/2 cup of onion chopped. Take a 2 qt casserole dish and spray it w/ non stick spray. Put the beef in the dish, and then take a can of french style green beans drained and spread it onto the beef, and then ontop of the beans, pour in 1 can of tomato soup. On top of that you add instant mashed potatoes that you made before hand. I think you make a 6 serving and heap it ontop of the layered dish. Bake uncovered at 350 for 30 mins. This dish is my dh's fave!!

I'm going to have to try that sometime.

Darn it, now I'm hungry.

"Daddy Diapers"? What are those? If he can't figure it out, we're using the wrong ones.

I like to make Shepard's Pie if we're not going the taco or spaghetti route
Just google it and you'll find tons of varieties.

Rhi,
I'll have to try your recipe! I was going to make something w/ground turkey today, so that'll be it!
