Keep those pictures coming---I need more ideas, but I'm really excited!
and exactly that!! I need to see more pictures people! I am basically obsessed with this idea at the moment. I bought some of the felt today. Wal Mart didn't have all the colors I needed but I will start with what I have.
I have a couple of ideas.. On one side of the house I want to have a clothesline with cloth diapers or maybe even clothes hanging on it. Definitely doing a side with a garden that she can pick the vegetables from, I know DD will LOVE that. Then I want to maybe have a side with a lake and some fish and ducks in/on it. Animals I want to add on various sides are a bird and a birdhouse, an owl, a deer (maybe by the lake?) and definitely a puppy or kitty. I also want to make it so things stick to the inside with velcro.. Not exactly sure what yet though.
I am making it to go over my kitchen table though and that isn't very big so I hope I have room for all the idea's I have flowing through my head!!

I LOVE the idea of a clothesline with CDs/clothes on it!!! I've been browsing the ones for sale HERE for ideas (not that I'm ever in a million years going to be able to do something similar!)

yes, I too am excited to attempt making this felt play house for our little ones.. I just bought the felt (1/2 off at JoAnns) yesterday... I totally guessed at how much I needed, and not even sure if Ill be able to figure it out.. Ive never sewn a thing in my life (from start to finish, anyway..) I saw it on a thread here and just had to have one for Christmas! thankfully, my mom is a seamstress and perhaps I can pull her away from her quilts to help me out.. have fun, all, on this project.. am sure all the intended children will enjoy the fruits of our labors!
I'm thinking of making one for my two boys but we have a round/oval table...have any of you made one other than square or rectangle?

I am SO waiting for someone to make one! I don't have a round table, but I have a rectangular table with rounded ends, and it didn't make it any harder to do. I suggested in a previous post you could make an igloo out of a round table, but honestly you could make it into anything, just like a square/rectangular table. I would not make the side all one continous piece if you were going to sew details on it directly, tho - that would be a bear to work around in a machine. I'd probably divide it in fourths, so you'd have four seams going vertically - and you could do each of the four panels differently if you wanted. If you do make one, please post pix!

Here are my WIP pics of the puppet theatre. I still have some work to do, but it is coming together so nicely!
