Please!!! I'm planning on NOT cutting DS's hair, and people are already giving me grief about it (it'll get it his eyes, he'll look like a girl etc.) Can i see pics of your boys with long hair!?
This is a semi-recent pic of DS. His hair is much longer in the front then everywhere else, it's actually pretty short on the sides. Is he going to look odd if i let it grow out and he ends up with super long hair in the front?
Thanks!!!!!

My son is 3.5 and has never had a hair cut He likes having "big hair" and I think likes that it is the longest hair on our family!

The midwife considers the miracle of childbirth as normal, and leaves it alone unless there's trouble. The obstetrician normally sees childbirth as trouble. If he leaves it alone, it's a miracle. --Sheila Stubbs

FTR, my son is pretty, even without the hair, I think he looks girly, but it brushes out of his eyes now, and really, only family gives us grief, other people love it.

My 2 yr old Nephew hasn't had his hair cut yet only his bangs trimmed.

It's OK, next time I'll make you listen. I wish that it were in the power of all children to say that to their parents and to know that indeed they would be heard as we were in those wonderful days on Waltons Mountain.Narrator The Waltons (From the Runaway in Season 3 Eposide 4.)
My oldest son is 2, and we've never cut his hair. He gets mistaken for a girl and people always ask when we'll cut it. I always say, "when he asks us to!"

My almost 6 year old has almost always had pretty long hair, but I admit this is the longest it's ever been. He wants to grow it out for Lock of Love. People DO mistake him for a girl AND ask when he's getting a haircut. I just usually reply "We do cut it once a year or so to make other people happy, the rest of the time WE get to be happy" Oh and DH's family hates it long... oh well! I think his hair is GORGEOUS!! as much as we get flack for it, twice as many people go out of their way to compliment.
Can you tell I love him.

Love all the little boys and their hair! I have a 19 month old ds and he hasn't had a haircut yet. My mom and other family members are ALWAYS asking when we are cutting it, and my mom always says it bothers him because he brushes it out of his face. I say, "It doesn't bother him because he never gets frustrated, it's just natural like anyone else would." He has been called a girl some, but we just set them straight right away...one that did bother me was when someone said that it was a waste to have such beautiful hair on a boy. What, boys aren't supposed to have beautiful hair?!?!
They aren't all the best pics, but here they are!
AND, a fun one where he's being jumped by me on our trampoline. (He's not really scared, he was getting ready to talk about a bird hehe)
