Hi! I'm not really a mother of "multiples" but I will have two boys under 18mo in a month and I'm wondering what are some good diaper bags? I figured you mama's would know the good, the bad and the ugly of them!
TIA!

I have the Skip Hop duo double and love it! This is the bag I am talking about. I love that it hooks onto my side by side stroller and I can fit everything I need in it and find things easily.

I got this amazing baby trend bag at a garage sale for $3, so I don't know where you would find one. It has side pockets for bottles, a little pacifier clip on pouch, two lined refrigerator areas, one of which is detachable on the bottom, a cinch top so it is easy to access the main compartment, built in zipper pouch for wipes, a big front zippered pocket, changing pad, and a side from being a back pack it also has snaps to attach the bag to a stroller. So if any of those features sound like they'd be helpful I'm sure they make bags that have them. I have a 3 year old and 20 month old twins and the best advice I could give would be get a diaper bag that is a back pack and if they are too expensive get a good back pack. Being hands free for me has been essential in so many instances that had I had a traditional over the shoulder bag I probably would have had to just drop it to go chase after kids. Depending on how old your youngest will be another good reason for back packs is you can have a baby in a sling and still have a back pack on, much easier than a shoulder bag. I looked silly but I have had one twin in a sling, back pack diaper bag on, the other twin on my other side, and held my oldest hand with the side I had the sling.
We will soon have baby #4 and with each of them I have had a Land's End bag. I LOVE them and they are great for weekend/daytrip bags after baby is older.

We were given a couple of 'cheapy' bags that didn't last. The lining ripped within a month of use. I ended up finding a Pottery Barn sling diaper bag at the pottery barn outlet that I have used for 1.5 years and it shows absolutely no wear. I love it. It's manly enough that my husband has no issue wearing it. I can toss it on over my Ergo in the hip carry and it doesn't bother whoever I am carrying and there is no fear I will drop it. It's not huge, which I like. When I need to carry a bag it only has a few changes of diaper, wipes, a change of clothes for each child, a few snacks, and a drink. This bag works really good for us. Fits under any stroller, but most of the time I just wear it since it is so comfortable. Looks new still after 1.5 years of hard use. It only has one drink holder on the side, but that works for us.
I had two bags....one for quick outings and one for longer times on the go. I would write out a list of things you personally like to carry and go from there. There are SO many different ones to choose from and it should be a good match for YOU
I don't have multiples but I do have some larger bags that I just "had" to try out, turns out I'm not a messenger bag lover, so they are for sale. They both fit a lot and have a good amount of pockets and are super lightweight. I actually tried packing them up to use as weekend bags for the girls when we visit family and they held so much! One is a Sherpani Flora Major (just like their diaper bag the Lena but minus the change pad) and the other is a Lexie Barnes Superstar (no longer made and hard to find).
