Mamas I need help! I have some yummy Kona DK that I sent to Tia to be dyed in her AppleFest Colorway (red trim) and it's finally coming home to me. My original intentions were to knit a DiscoBaby Knits Playtime Top for my niece. Now I'm considering RHS. What do I do?

Hi guys! I haven't posted over here in awhile, I spent some time knitting up some non-woolie related birthday gifts and being lazy . I love all the FO's so far, great work everyone! Here is my latest baby knit. I frogged and re-knit a pair of problem longies for a mama on another board, it was a lot of fun. They are half-linen stitch.
Thanks again, Sarah. A million times over!

Summer - that hat is beautiful! LOVE IT!
Toni - which will your niece enjoy more - the rhs or the playtime top?

Those slippers are perfect! They are very snuggly looking
Thanks! At first I was like ehh this is gonna look crappy...then I finished, made all the dropped stitches fall out and put it on to test, too big of course it's for my brother, but, I realize I had done a pretty good job...only 1 mistake which I fixed secretly hehehe

"Tis the season for a good snuggly sweater, does your neice wear long sleeves much? (Course you can make the RHS short sleeved) or do you think she would get more use out of the the DBK Playtime top?

Sorry so big!
Love the hat, be sure to get action shots! I was wondering if those drop stitches would stretch enough for you!

Those slippers are great, my toes are so jealous!!! How in the world did you get them to stand so nice for the pics? What did you stuff them with or did you chop off some poor child's feet just for a great picture LOL! I seriously want some of those! Hey - If I make them for everyone for christmas darnit, who's making mine!!!!

YYMN spots open Will knit for yarn!
Tina - I had one wash cloth in each of them - but they will stand like that on their own - when they were drying I stuffed them with some wash cloths to get the shape I wanted but even after taking them out they still stand pretty
yeah I think that I've about decided the kids will get pairs for Christmas - at least some of them

Longies ( these where knit by someone else sent to me to frog and re-knit an even after blocking the yarn wants to curl some ugh but I am going to block them agian tonight hoping that will help smooth them out before sending them off ) http://
and very very start of a little boy hoodie http://
She's only 10 months old, so I don't know which she would get more use out of. My sister said whatever I knit for her, she will be putting her in it for her birthday party on Jan 1. Call me petty, but I sort of want to do the RHS so people can ooh and aah over the pretty details.
Christi- I love those slippers
Summer- Awesome hat, which pattern did you use?

toni - definitely go for the RHS! there is nothing wrong with wanting a little "good job" on your knitting! it's nice to know it is appreciated.
Steph - pretty things!
