A little name help please :)

I Like Emma Lynn as a first name, without the hyphen, I am Emily Elizabeth (from clifford the big red dog...) and it is crazy long, but my nickname was more "e.e." than "emily", my family still calls me "Emily Elizabeth" - I really like the idea of both names, because I never really liked "emily" it felt too short/ insignificant. We named our daughter Penelope Patricia, but it is a first / Middle name so she wouldn't have to deal with the two first names issue i've always dealt with, but with Emma Lynn both names are short enough for it to work-
my mom is Mary Ann, and my cousin is Beth Anne and neither of them ever have a problem, so i think with shorter names, you don't need the hyphen!

I'm naming my daughter Emma, but *was* going to go with your version.. only I was going to spell it Emalyn. Just an idea

Wow! Thanks everyone for the great responses, I wasn't expecting so many! I really think we are going to go with Emmalynn Rebekah. I appreciate the other spellings but we are definitely partial to the letters being in the order they are since they are. Maybe its silly but I feel like Emalynn looks like a made up name or someone just trying to be original on spelling of Emmaline where as Emmalynn just looks like two names smooshed together like Marybeth
