Surely people have SOME idea of how much $$ they want?!
report threads without a price. They must have a price if on FSOT.

If you report it a FSOT mod can remove it from the title and/or pm the mama (this one bugs me too LOL!)

I also think posts should be updated by DELETING pictures of sold items. I write sold next to the pics in mine - until I know the buying mama has the item in hand and is happy with it - then delete the pictures. So annoying to scroll through those "tons" threads to really like an item in a picture and then get to the bottom of the picture just to see "sold". Grr.
I don't want things deleted once they're sold. I want to be able to compare the listing with the item once I have it in hand

Right - which is what I said - write sold by the item, leaving the info and pics there - until the buying mama has the item in hand and is happy with it.

I don't like it when the photos are deleted either. I move mine to the bottom as soon as the item is sold and I state that at the top of my listings. That way the person looking for her item again knows to scroll down, but it's out of the way for the browsing moms.
I also don't like it when titles aren't updated. And, I really don't like it when they aren't descriptive. Actually, if it just says, "Tons for Sale," or "Big Destash." I don't even open it. I don't have time (unless I'm looking for a hard to find item.) I make my titles very descriptive and they always end up long. I try to update them as I go also. It think it helps sell things.
Now, whoever said "picky" sellers, I might be seen as one of those. Really, I'm not, but I state everything right at the top of my listing (pp only, shipping within x time and only to US, cat friendly). I want to be up front about everything and I feel putting it at the top is the best way to do that. It probably deters some, but I hope it makes people feel like they know exactly how I do things.

All FSOT posts need a price. REPORT THOSE that don't have a price by clicking on the exclamation point in the top right corner of the post.
I do not delete photos from my FSOT threads until I know the mama has the item and is happy with it. If I delete the photo and the mama is not satisfied or disagrees with the description, I want to be able to show EXACTLY what information/photos were in the thread that she purchased from. I rarely if ever have any issues with items I sell but it's just in case. It worries me when I see mamas deleting the whole description and photo right after the item sells.
Yes, updating titles would be awesome! Mark your items as sold and mark the whole thread to be deleted if there is nothing left to be sold in the thread.

Yes, this. But I guess when I wrote it out above, I wasn't clear?
I had it happen to me - ordered something and asked specific questions about Is the elastic good and the PUL good on the diapers... seller replied yes they were all in excellent working order and had barely been used. Bought them and when they got to me, One of the diapers had severe obvious PUL holes - I took pics to send back to her and when I went back to look at the listing - the whole thing was gone. That urked me and that is why I leave the pictures up until the mama has the item and we've both left appropriate feedback.

I have no problem with people stating these things up front. I guess I mean sellers who expect it to be easy. When you put up a wall, some people will push on it. Will you ship to Canda just this once? Some people are just like that by nature. I read so often pay right away after I email you my paypal. This isn't ebay people! I have NO IDEA when you will email me your quote and paypal addy. If you post something for sale I think you should expect people may back out (not that I think that is OK) and if you want a sure thing locked in bid go to eaby. Pay their fees, see if your item gets lost in the ebay sea, see if you get the price you want for it where people may not know the value of your CD items. ( I haven't shopped for CD items on ebay, so I'm speaking partly in ignorance here!)
Having said that, I really think if people want to put a bunch of stipulations (like pay right away, not splitting up lots, don't pm me unless you intend to buy, not cutting yardage) in their sale that is fine. I've just decided I'm not shopping with them. I'm looking for customer service! I love everything being stated up front like if you have pets, when you will ship, PM rather than post in the thread. Maybe it's an attitude thing.
Same thing on ebay when they say HUGE lot only to have 3 pieces of clothing...What the heck!
