Thought they came out cute... couple PFs (one regular style & one w/a sewn on soaker for quicker drying w/flannel sanwiched in the middle). The tropical print is a M sized flat = 2-layers. One is the cotton print & backed w/flannel.

Pardon the strings, haven't trimmed & tied yet.

That's a great idea! They're just cotton shirts, but not tees, right? I may just have to borrow your idea

Yeah they were button down collared SS shirts - like the typical hawaiian style shirts if that makes sense. 100% cotton.

I also have some 100% cotton t's that I cut up & have plans to make soakers & some more PFs with.

It's really amazing what you can get out of one shirt! Even the short sleeve part that I thought would be trash - I just cut them into strips & am making panty liners for people. They'll be cheap/ghetto but next to nada to make 'em!
