Baby sleeping thru the Night but I'm engorged

My 4 month old has been sleeping through the night for over a month now. I feed him at 7:30, he's out by 8 and wakes at 6am to eat again.

That's a long time between feedings. Sometimes, I'll wake him at 10 to top him off so I'm not so engorged in the morning but really, how long does it usually take for things to even out and I don't wake up engorged?

How long did it take you?

(I have a pump and I'm willing to pump before bed (which I do sometimes too).)

I think it took a week or so. If you keep pumping you'll keep supplying. If you want to pump before bed then you're going to have to continue that so you don't keep getting engorged.
OR, you can stop that extra pumping session and at first just do it so that you take the edge off. I find that pumping even 1 - 2 ounces helps, then stop pumping and it should level off in a few days/1 week or so

I pump at 11:30PMish, and then at 5AM when DH gets up to head off to work Usually, wee-man is out by 9PM, we dream-feed him a bottle at 11ish, and he's good until the morning.
