Re: diaper bag suggestions?!

My DH and I wanted something that could double as a bike bag for when he biked, so we chose to spring for a really nice, custom messenger bag from Timbuk2. We got an x-large one, and it is huge! We have the room for everything and it's not snug at all. Since my girls are only 2 months, we don't need to bring to much. I know it will still work when we need to bring snacks and toys along with us though!

I really like my Diaper Dude bag because DH and I can both carry it, it holds a lot, and it has great pockets

Re: diaper bag suggestions?!

We love our Jujube Beall. I think I would get the next size up if I did it again, just because you can never be too prepared. That and I have 5 under 4 1/2 . The beall worked great for two in diapers though

Can I ask you a few questions momma? I am narrowing down my diaper bag choices, and wanted to find someone who had one I could ask. I don't have the ability to see one IRL. Do you find it's too big to carry around when it's not attached to the stroller? What about the pockets on the outside? I know they have magnetic closures, but do things fall out of them. I had smaller skip hop, and I was worried losing things out the front pockets.

Thanks

I can answer those!

I don't feel it's too big to carry when it's not hooked to the stroller. I use the smaller handles rather than the big long one. I never really get a chance to carry it around, it's usually on my stroller.

As for the front pockets, so far nothing has fallen out. I am sure something like loose change would fall out, but my cell phone, sunglasses, keys, etc, haven't fallen out.

Hope this helps.

Re: diaper bag suggestions?!

I had a back pack when the twins were little. Especially when they were starting to walk. If I was using an over the shoulder bag, it would slip down and smack them when I was leaning to hold their hand. Then I had a bag and two babies all on the ground and upset. Hands free is vital!

Re: diaper bag suggestions?!

I have a Skip Hop Duo Deluxe and LOVE it! I have a black one, so DH will use it as well. I also have a Little Tripper LandEnd bag, but that is for very short trips.

The Skip Hop will fit 5 Piddle Poddle AIOs or tons of PFs without overflowing the bag. I put a small wallet in one of the small pockets, my planner/coupons in the changing pad pocket. I fit 2 Dr. Brown bottles in the mess side pocket and a sippy for ODS. If I have all 3 kids it is tight as DD is tube fed, so then I am lugging a ton of formula.
