Newborn cloth diapering questions??

Can someone share with me a reasonable amount for a newborn stash? I have no idea how many prefolds/fitteds/covers to buy? Currently, I have about 8 fitteds and 10 prefolds and three wool covers. I know I will need more covers and more diapers- whether they be fitteds or prefolds. But, how many diapers in a rotation would be good? I would like to wash about every other day.

I had the same question for my 6 month old DS and I was tol 20-24 diapers would be good if I washed every day. However the more diapers you have the better so you go through all of them (almost all at least) before you wash and it will be less wear and tear on them!
