Lip balm tubes

My MIL has lots of allergies. I'd like to make her some lip balm, but I need tubes to put it in. Where's a great place to get tubes?

Re: Lip balm tubes

etsy has lots. i can't think of any actual suppliers but for a small amount like what you would need for one person, etsy should be a great place to find what you're looking for. of course, i just love etsy for practically everthing.

here for slide-top tins

here for the tubes

i searched lip balm under supplies and it come up with a bunch of stuff including pre-made base and everything....which it just occurred to me you might not be interested in because of your mil's allergies. which is the reason you are looking for the stuff to make your own. right, glad i was paying attention...lol! anyways, good luck!

Joannes carrys little plastic pots that would be like a carmex tin that works great, they used to have kits as well. My favorite supplier is Majestic Mountain Sage, I have loved everything I've ordered from them.

I was coming here to say "eBay!" but yes - that is exactly who I buy from, originally in her eBay store and now on her actual site (slightly cheaper b/c no eBay fees!)..

She has the beeswax and everything too!

Mountain Rose Herbs: http://www.mountainroseherbs.com/supply/misc.html . They also sell a lot of the supplies for making your own skincare products. I think they are organic.
