Gauge and Longies

I'm getting ready to knit up a pair of longies on some bulky Gaia. The pattern I'm using (Freckle bottoms) calls for 5 spi but I really like the result I get with 4 spi on size 9 needles and the pattern explains how to come up with the stitch counts to match my gauge. I checked the wonderful yarn amount chart and it states that I'll need 200 yards, but I'm not sure if this applies to bulky weight yarn.
So my question is, can I get a size small pair of longies out of 2 skeins of bulky Gaia (314 total yards). If not then I'll just starting swatching on smaller needles until I get the correct gauge.

Re: Gauge and Longies

I did a small/medium pair recently with a little over 6 ounces of bulky Gaia, whatever that works out to in yardage. They were 16.5 inch rise, 8 inch inseam, and I think 16 or 17 inch hips with cables on the legs.
