Diaper Swappers

I was surfing overstock.com today for christmas gifts and came accross this serger. Anyone tried this brand? Is it good? Is this a good deal? I'm pretty new at sewing, so don't want to spend a lot and sergers always seem really expensive. Any advice would be appreciated!

i dont have that one but i do have a janome serger, i like it, i've only had it for about 2 weeks but have been doing TONS of sewing on it. if anything i dont like about my serger is it dont have a free arm, i find that important to me. i actually would buy a serger from a dealer and get full use of the free classes they offer with a purchase of a serger. i recently saw a janome 9102D harmony for sale at a dealer in Brampton, ON for $299, so not a bad price for a starter serger.

don't buy the new singer professional touch- it is horrible just a word of advice.

I have only heard good reviews of janome. This is the serger I am hoping to buy in the near future. I don't know about cnd so can't comment on if it is a good deal.

oh, wanted to add that I would never buy another singer. hated that serger and if i had read reviews, would never have bought it.

i have that exact Janome serger and love it!! MAde my entire newborn/small stash with it!
