OK, felt playhouse Question about measurements?

my card table is a standard table that measures 34" Wx28" tall so would I cut 1 piece 35" W for the top to allow for seam and the 4 for the side would be 29" in to allow for seam? Does that sound right? I'm ready to start this weekend, finally! Thanks for any help.

Well, yeah I'd probably do that--you really dont need a whole inch seam allowance but it would probably be best to do that much just in case!

Kristen--Thank you so much. Maybe i'll do a 1/2 inch seam allowance then.

Can't wait to see it! I've cut my sides but finished all of the "stuff" yet so I haven't sewn it together...it's taking a lot longer than I thought it would (I've had to set it aside a lot in order to get other stuff done).

Anyway, I did my seam allowances an inch because I tend to overdo my seams!

I do too, that's why I figured an inch would be good!
