Flat Stanley Homeschool Project

Hey mamas!

I just started hsing my girls this year and we are doing a "flat stanley" project. The girls made paper versions of themsleves are are going to send them out to people all over the US and hopefully all over the world.

The people that "host" the flat girls will take them out sightseeing or to the park, or where every they want and take a few pics of them. Then write where they were or what they were doing on the back of the picture. Pack paper people and pictures back up and ship them back to us in MN so the girls can put the pictures in their book and learn all about the places they "visited"

So I'm looking for some help! If anyone here would be willing to host a "flat child" for a week or so, my girls and I would greatly appreciate it!

TIA!

my girls have done this both sending flats and hosting in the past. they would be probably be willing to host your flat if you still need families. also, have you signed up for the flat traveller yahoo group? it is flat_travellers_homeschool. it is a whole list of homeschoolers that send and host flats. Good luck with your flats.

I'm in Texas and will happily host a flat person
I'd like to do this for DD too, if anyone is willing to host us!

How big and heavy are these? Shipping costs are not so reasonable outside Germany but I might be willing to host one. It would be nice to ship to Germany if someone on base is willing to host after me. I could also easily ship to Poland. (I am close to the border.)

It would probably be cheaper to drop ship the photos from an online photo service in the US so I would consider that.
