My 9mo is taking steps!

She has decided that all of a sudden she needs to walk everywhere. She has been walking around furniture since 7 months and now she will walk down the wall in the hallway. Yesterday she walked from the bathroom doorway across the hall to ODD's bedroom by herself. She is taking steps away from the furniture and then walking like 6-8 steps before falling. I am so sad kind of, she is growing so fast and she doesn't even have a tooth yet! She is only 37 weeks old for heavens sake. I guess she has to keep up with big sister.
My son walked his first tottering steps by his 1st bd and ODD didn't walk till 14 months.
I feel like her babyhood is slipping by so fast before I know it we will be paying for a wedding

Awwww, sounds like we may be in the same boat. DD1 walked just after her 1st birthday. DD2 walked at 15 months. Now DS gets this little glint in his eye and tries to balance. He's getting pretty good and is starting to cruise around the furniture. I just changed my siggy this morning and I can't believe I was switching to 10 months already! It really feels like I just changed it to 9 months last week! Where does the time go?

some kids are eager to be a big kid, especially ones with older siblings. seems like motherhood is constantly bittersweet where we are excited to see them learn and grow but missing their baby days.

I know how you feel! My DD walked at 8.5 months! I feel like I only had a baby for a few months! Some little ones just aren't content to stay babies for us. My DS is 4 months old and looks like he is going to follow in his big sister's footsteps. They grow up so fast!

I'm so excited for my baby to be like yours he's going one year this march. Hope he can do it before he'll celebrate his birthday.

You are so blessed
