Hopping Ball -- I need size help!

I want to buy DD a hopping ball for Christmas (today preferably, since she's not with me!) but I'm confused about size. The smallest sized ones (16", I think) say they're good till age 5, but

a) I've seen some reviews that scoff at this sizing, and
b) DD is about 40". (2.75 years, but tall)

If you have hopping balls, what size can your LO use, and how tall is your LO?

Thanks so much, mamas!

We have Rody as well as the bouncing pony. Rody is more of a toddler bouncer but the pony is still used by my six year old, we got it for my 9yr old when she was 4/5?

I would think anything bigger then 18" would be too big fir her to enjoy. D|0|Normal%20Search%20Result|P1

I had the same exact question. Thanks for the question and the answer. My 3yr old 40" will be fine with the normal Rody.
