Cheapest way to ship a box of clothes? - ebay sale

I am getting ready to list a large lot of maternity clothing on ebay. It has jeans, pants, dresses, and shirts. Is UPS the cheapest way to go? Should I box it up and take it there for a quote? TIA

Yes, UPS! Don't bother with USPS. Fedex isn't too bad either.

Will it fit into a flat rate box? If so, that's the cheapest way to go. Otherwise I would just weigh it and figure it out. Sometime UPS is more money than USPS

Flat rate could be cheap, but it may be cheaper just to get your own box.

So what I meant to say was: I'd box it up, and then if it's more expensive after you get it weighed than what you thought, I'd just take it out and put it in a flate rate box.

I would see if it would fit into a large flat rate USPS box if not then I'd do UPS. UPS will be expensive if you let them box it up. Just find a box of your own and ask them to weigh it so you can put it into ebay and it will calculate the cost depending on the bidders location.

Thanks for the tips everyone. I'm pretty sure it won't fit into a USPS flat rate box. There are at least 10 pairs of pants, plus all the other stuff. It looks like boxing it up and getting a quote from UPS will be the best way to go. Thanks!

Ask the buyer if they mind if you "remove air pack". To do so just fold clothes neatly and place in a large trash bag, gather it closed and stick you vac nozzle in the opening at the top. Turn on vac, hold bag closed around nozzle and the bag will start shrinking. Once all the air is out start twisting top while you pull wand out.Twist bag closed, fold and duct tape close. Stick in box quickly and tape everything up

I do this a lot and ship cheaper since the box is not as large.
