Can I make up meatloaf ahead of time?

Can I mix up the meatloaf and put it in the fridge uncooked to cook the next day? Even if it has eggs in it?

We are having DH's special meatloaf for Christmas dinner and I am hoping to mix it up on Christmas Eve and just keep it in the fridge until time to bake on Christmas. I am wanting Christmas to be as work-free as I can get it.

I do that all the time. Just be sure to use fresh meat and cook it within 24-48 hours.

Awesome! Thank you! I'll have my meatloaf mixed and ready, my potatoes peeled and cut, Jesus birthday cake made - all on Christmas Eve. All I'll have to do on Christmas is mix up the green bean cass. Woohoo!

I do this most of the time. Also, you can even cook meat loaf in the crock pot!! Great option for working moms!
