I just wanted to add, in case some of the pp's weren't clear, that you don't let the microfiber towel touch the baby's skin when using as a doubler.

preemie or infant trifolded inside a premium (if your in that size) or some kind of doubler layed in it..

Why not? Does it cause a rash?

I've often used microfibre in my pockets, but obviously the microfibre touching the skin is never an issue.

from what I understand, it is too absorbant and leaves the skin too dry.

I've been told it can lead to burn rashes on babies skin. As long as there is a barrier then all is good.

I found that my prefolds were more absorbant than my fitteds. JME
