Re: Another stinky dipey question...

Have you tried sunning them? I had diapers I bought before and they smelled like detergent perfume and it took many many many washes and sunnings to get rid of that detergent smell!

I would also try more detergent even though you have already stripped them. It could only help!

Re: Another stinky dipey question...

Hi! I wouls return them. I had something very similar from a woman on eBay - they really stunk of alot of perfume and the elastic was crunchy - I found out these were stored for A LONG TIME and were not well taken care of,,,so after I swear I washed, stripped, even in the dishwasher, at least 12 times, I sent them back...Yeah, I had also sunned them, tried vinegar, bleach, boiling water etc...

GL!

Re: Another stinky dipey question...

I'd return them, but if you cant, I'd go to a petstore and get something called Nature's Miracle. Try soaking the diaper in that for a bit. I dont *Think* it wll discolor it, but at this point, if you cant return it, its worth the chance.

NM has gotten some nasty stink from dog equipment and is totally non-toxic

Re: Another stinky dipey question...

Do you have any simple green in the house? If so, wash them in it with washing soda and TTO. It should get rid of the smell.

FL: ~2 T -1/4 cp of washing soda and 1-2tsp of Simple green. I use 5-7 drops of TTO..

No clue about regular machine but I would imagine doubling should do it.

Someone also recommended bac-out when I had stinky BGs..It worked for me..
