Is there a recylcing / trade-in program where I can get something useful for one? Swagbucks takes cell phones and video game stuff but not cameras as far as I can tell...

Do you know what's wrong with it? Would it be expensive to fix?

We JUST replaced the battery door on a digital camera we'd had laying around for 2 years (brand new when it broke) and gave it to my mom for Christmas. It was a cheap fix though.

Other than that, I don't know of any recycling programs for cameras. But you could try Ebay. There might be people wanting broken ones for parts.

I have no idea what kind of camera you have but I actually sold my canon powershot not too long ago with all accessories (BROKEN) on ebay for around $40. You might want to check that out!

Hmmm.. I need to look into selling mine then too on ebay. But mine is just a broken kodak. We have been giving ours to dd to play with.

Thanks guys! I have sold broken iPods on ebay before, so I was considering that. ebay stresses me out a little so I was looking into alternatives.
