Method of marking posts has changed...
Up until this point posts have been effectively marked read by actually looking at the post (or using the mark read feature). This however is very database and resource intensive and is part of our "server issues".
Posts will now be marked read by cookies/inactivity. This may not be ideal for some, but to keep the board going, its just a setting we all have to learn to live with  Hope this doesn't cause too many issues for anyone though
