Insurance now has to cover Amino-Acid Formula

I am happy to say that I was on the board to get this law passed!!!

It had passed the Texas house and senate back in June 2009.

Some insurances would cover it, but it had to be through a feeding tube (medically necessary). They wouldn’t cover if it was straight from the bottle (nutritional supplement).
Now it doesn’t matter how it is given they have to cover it.
