Freezer cooking questions

Next Saturday 4 of my friends and I are getting together to do some freezer meals. I have never done this before and am getting a little anxious. I have 2 major questions for those of you who do this often:
1. Is there an efficient way to divide up the prep work since there will be 5 people?
2. I have a recipe where you mix all this stuff together and then wrap it in a crescent roll so it makes sort of a Hot Pocket. For a freezer meal would you bake it in the oven, flash freeze it, and heat in the microwave on the day you eat it? Or assemble it, flash freeze, and then bake on the day you want to eat it?

Any other tips or tricks would be much appreciated! TIA!
