Re: is my girl really tall for her age? carseat topic

My 14 month old DS is close to outgrowing the roundabout since he's really tall in the torso. He's 33" and 24 lbs and we hopefully will get another 5-6 months use out of it. He's got another 2-3 inches before his ears are above the back of the seat. It really depends on your child's build. My ODS is only 35lbs and is way too big to fit in the roundabout (even though it's suppose to fit up to 40lbs) but he's really tall too.

I know it depends on what car you have the seat installed in because it will make the seat fit differently. But i can't imagine your dd outgrowing the marathon already. Do you have any pics?? Just trying to help.

lol that totally makes sense. I love the marathons. My ds is still in an infant combi car seat. We are waiting until may when the new recaro convertible comes out. It is supposed to go to higher limits than the britax!

good to know my girl isn't a freak! she has a cosco senera as a spare seat and she still has alot of room to grow in it. i hope we get many more years out of the marathon. but then again..... there are some awfully cute covers on other britax models out there...
