I'll tell you where you can put all of that stuff: My house

That seriously is a lot of stuff though, and big at that.

Are you serious? A baby grand piano? Did you say you lived in a trailer? Where would you put a baby grand? We had one when I was a kid and no joke, it took up at least a third of our formal sitting room. I would rather have a nice used car, they cost about the same....

A baby grand piano is a fisher price toy ~ not really a "piano"

That's nice that your family is spoiling her. My ds was spoiled he was the first grand and great grandbaby on my mom/stepdad's side and since I am my dad's favorite he spoiled him rotten too. My girls get spoiled by my inlaws because they have never had a girl around so the pink and frilly they are loving it. Dd's birthday was crazy!! We have learned to very nicely say nothing big because we've run out of space.

Open up her a savings account or something and put money in it rather than a gift. She will appreciate and remember that later in life more than the toys. That's what we do, she gets more than enough from the family so we just opened a Roth IRA for her. She can use it for a car, college, etc... when she is older.

I feel dumb now. I was thinking, hey, maybe they have a musical prodigy but a baby grand for a one year old. Wow.
And yeah, totally CANNOT spoil a baby. Lucky, lucky baby.

Lol the grand piano thing cracked me up!
I agree, can't spoil a baby!

My husband saw this super cute princess sofa at target last night and recently she has decided that sitting on the sofa is the coolest thing ever, so we are going to get her that.

She has a regular savings account that we add to each month, I am exicted that she'll have that when she is older!

I also put up some of the toys (in the attic) for a month, then rotate them out with what she's been playing with. That way, she gets to play with all of her toys, but they're not carpeting the house, and she doesn't get bored with them.
Wow - this is my life too! My DD was the first grandbaby for either side. The stuff was coming by the truckload. Diddo the MIL house a disaster thing. Unfortunately since we added the second grandbaby for either side to our household - the stuff has taken over and now my house is a disaster too!

I keep looking around thinking - I can't believe my house looks like this - why do they keep sending us stuff?
