Italy

Anyone out there? Me and baby just got here to visit DH and we're having diaper issues, not stink, but I don't think the detergent is coming out even after a full second wash. Is there an Italian brand we should look at using?

Re: Italy

what kind of soap are you using? We're going to be using the nellies washing soda since like you said its hard to wash out the soap here.

I've been using 7th Gen Free and Clear from the commissary here, but I've noticed more stinkys than back in the states. I'm thinking it might be the water?? I'm in Sicily, so the well water is bound to have higher mineral contents. I've been combating it with more vinegar rinses than normal.

It seems to take longer here (NSA Naples) to get the dipes clean as well. We are using the same detergent as in the states, so I am assuming it is the water.
