How is it holding up and how long have you had it?

I am looking at twin size bedding for my son and I found a duvet cover that I love and would be perfect in his room but it cost $100 and I don't want to purchase it then find out it is hard to maintain. KWIM?

Oh my no...not with my three little ones. Is your son going to playing at all in his room? If not, then I suppose not too much harm could happen while sleeping (not sure of his age but night "accidents" are also a consideration). I bet it is nice though...

I do it's on Dd's bed right now. It's gone through three kids. White background, and ABC's with a picture for each letter on it it bright colors.
My moms friend made it for Ds when he was 2 (he's 21 now)
I wash it regularly and occasionally throw in some Oxy clean, no problem.

My DD's duvet is white w/ colored hearts on it. I've had to wash it once or twice since we bought it for her bed back in... April? DD got a hold of some markers and was coloring in bed and laying the open markers on her blanket, which of course absorbed the ink. An oxy clean soaking and regular wash cleaned that up! I just noticed that it's got blood on it now (she's got really dry lips that she's been picking at, I'm assuming that was where it came from)

here's what ours looks like.. I think it was $40 at JYSK.

Thank you for the replies. My son does play in his room but we don't paint or anything in there.

This is the duvet cover btw. http://www.potterybarnkids.com/produ...s-duvet-covers I am doing murals in his room with all of our Dr. Seuss books. I got a projector that is making it easier for me. So it would work well.
