Hey mamas, I am looking for a healthy Superbowl appetizer idea. The only thing I can think of is celery sticks and carrots. I would like to make something to wow my husbands family but also very healthy since we are all on diets. Any ideas?

Re: Healthy Superbowl appetzer
How about boneless, skinless buffalo chicken fingers? Without the skin they shouldn't be to bad. (I really don't knoiw the owrd diet scares me so I never tried one lol) They would go great with the celery and carrots and maybe a little bit of low fat ranch or blue cheese?

Re: Healthy Superbowl appetzer
I make taco dip with fat free sour cream, low fat cream cheese and canned navy beans all creamed together (in equal parts), mix in some taco seasonging until it is as strong as you like then top with salsa or chopped tomatoes, then low fat cheese and lettuce. For dipping I buy whole wheat tortillas in the bakery section and slice them up into chip size pieces. Bake them at 400 for about 5 minutes until they brown and then once they cool they are now no salt whole grain chips!

Fruit with dip made from cottage cheese blended with lemon and sugar is pretty yummy. The person who originally made this for me used a sugar substitute, but we don't use those so I subbed sugar.
