i am high risk for PTL but last visit (1.5 weeks ago) baby was fine, cervix was closed. baby is active. that being said i spent ALL day in bed bc i was in too much pain to move. obviously it didnt help bc im still in pain should i call my dr? if so which one, ob or perinatologist? or should i just call my nurse who comes once a week to do my progesterone shots????? or should i just keep laying down since baby is active and im not bleeding or anything

I'd call your perinatologist Its theirjob to make mom's feel better..don't feel bad about calling. Even if it turn out to be nothing.

My Peri always says to call about anything, even if I'm only slightly worried. She'll check me out if I want it because she'd rather be safe than sorry. Your baby's life is important, so I'd call! I've felt silly for going in before and it being nothing, but I always feel better knowing that things are ok. My previous Peri had the same mindset. I hope everything is ok!
